‘Youth Day’ was celebrated on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in the conference hall. Rev Fr Joseph Martis, from St Joseph’s Seminary graced the occasion and unveiled the logo ‘Year of Youth – 2019’. He gave his valuable insights on the Post Synodal Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis ‘Christus Vivit’ – Christ is alive. He emphasized the views of Pope Francis that young people’s contribution to society is very important as they are very creative and practical. He invited the youth to encounter and have a close friendship with Jesus as everything Jesus touches becomes young, new and full of life. He gave a broad understanding of different vocations as a call from God. He also urged that one’s vocation in not the work that one does but it is the effort put in to serve others.

The Principal, Sr Norine DSouza A.C, introduced Rev Fr Joseph Martis to the students. The occasion was compered by Ms Alreya Patrao and Ms Erica Lobo delivered the vote of thanks.
