On the 19th of Feb, a Farewell Ceremony was organised in honour of Teacher LOURD RITA by the Management, Staff and the Students to celebrate her 38 years of service in the school. The programme began at 9.30 am with a Prayer Service conducted by the Students of Std. III and IV. Teacher Rita was accorded a Warm Welcome and the students of Std. I and II bid her a memorable farewell with their Action Song. The students of Std. V and VI wished her a healthy and peaceful life and expressed their gratitude with a Wishing Song and a verse. Students of Std. VII shared their heartfelt feelings with their Free Style Dance. The students of Std. VIII and IX came up with a Spectacular Dance Performance telling Teacher Rita that she would remain in their hearts forever.

Her brilliant accomplishments were highlighted by the Headmistress Sr. Maria Gracilda. Sir Jesuraj recited a Poem he had composed in honour of Teacher Rita. Many teachers and students could not help shedding of tears as words of welcome and gratitude continued to flow. She was honoured by Twenty Five Student Representatives with Flowers and a Beautiful Gold Bracelet was gifted to her on behalf of the students by the S.P.L. Teacher Rita gave away the Certificates/Medals honouring the Champions of our School and delivered her message thanking the Management, Staff and the Students. Finally the students were provided with sweets by the teacher.

Later in the afternoon Teacher Rita was given a Warm Farewell by the Management and the Staff. The staff members conducted a Prayer Service and expressed their feelings and wishes to her. The Joint Secretary Sr. Noelle Marie paid a rich tribute to Teacher Rita through her Talk. The Headmistress Sr. Maria Gracilda and the Joint Secretary Sr. Noelle Marie along with Sisters Bedsy and Savitha honoured her. The Staff Members honoured Teacher Rita with a Gold Ring as a token of Love and Friendship. The members of the Staff were treated with a Farewell Lunch hosted by the Retiring Teacher.
