Mangaluru 11th Feb: A two day Apostolic Carmel Associates Regional Congress of Karnataka Province was held at St. Ann’s College of Education, Mangaluru on 10th and 11th February 2018. Sister Carmel Rita A.C., the Provincial Superior, Sister M. Lydia A.C., the General Coordinator for ACA, Sister Rose Agnes A.C., the Province Coordinator, Sister M. Sylvette A.C. the Animator, and Mr. John Lobo from St. Joseph’s Unit, Mysore Sub Unit lit the lamp and inaugurated the same. Sister Carmel Rita welcomed the gathering. Sister M. Lydia gave the Inaugural Address on the theme ‘Following Jesus in the Footsteps of Mother Veronica’ and declared the Congress open. Sister M. Silvian A.C compeered the programme.

Around two hundred ACAs and the animators of the sub- units from all over Karnataka were present for the same. All of them had an enriching and a memorable experience of togetherness and a spiritual banquet. Fourteen ACAs made their Permanent Affiliation and dedicated their lives to the service of the Church and humanity.
