Jan.31, 2018: “Peace cannot be kept by force it can only be achieved by understanding”. We celebrate peace day on January 30th in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation. It is a significance day to pay our homage to the victims who fought for the freedom welfare progress of India. In honour of this great day, we had few programmes to pay our tribute to our great leader Mahatma Gandhi.
Class Assemblies: Students took keen interest to conduct the class assemblies in a creative way. Meaningful prayer services were conducted on Martyr’s day.
Songs on Peace: Children’s were taught songs on peace and made to sing during assemblies.
Chart Preparation: Children’s took initiative to prepare the charts in groups.
Bulletin Board Preparation: The significance of the peace day was displayed on the bulletin board and the students were encouraged to read the great scarifies of the Martyr’s. Skit was enacted in groups. Inspirational thoughts on peace were written on the black board.
Peace Day Programme: Peace day programme was celebrated by the students of std V and II with a meaningful prayer service and value based skit and dances.
