Aug 21, 2019 : Month of July is a month busy with plating thousands of saplings and thus marking the festival of trees . Holy Rosary High school Moodbidri celebrated Vanamahothsava recently in a meaningful manner.
Dr Mahaveer Jain, President of Rotary Club of Temple Town, Moodbidre was the Chief guest. Addressing the students, he highlighted the need to cultivate genuine love for nature and the significance of Vanamahothsava. Mrs. Balika Jain, Lecturer in Hindi of Holy Rosary P.U College, spoke on the role of Students in conserving the Environment.
The Headmistress Sr. Thelma Dora DSouza presided over the function. The Eco Club put up a meaningful cultural programme under the guidance of Mrs. Reshma. At the end of the programme, a few saplings were planted in the school campus and fenced.
