As a part of social science project, the students of grade IV depicted the culture, tradition, folk dances, along with the traditional special cuisines of respective states pertaining to the lesson ‘The Southern Plateau’, of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh respectively.

The staff and students of other classes were given the opportunity to take a tour around ‘The Southern Plateau’ with the help of the guide, who accompanied them with the information and depiction showcased by the students. The students representing the different states welcomed the tourist with a traditional welcome in their respective state custom and language.

Finally the students sat together and shared their states special food items thus proving and encouraging the life value - Unity in Diversity
