The Apostolic Carmel Congregation founded by Venerable Mother Veronica on 16 July 1868, has served the society at large in its maximum capacity, through education and other works of mercy.

On the occasion of the Sesquicentenary of the Apostolic Carmel and the Centenary of St Agnes PU College an enriching input session was arranged for all the staff of St Agnes PU College on 10 July, 2019. Sr Pearl Anne AC from the Spirituality Centre, Maryhill enlightened the staff on the hallowed life of Venerable Mother Veronica, the founder of the Apostolic Carmel.

The staff were instilled into the charism of Venerable Mother Veronica, an English lady who came to India to educate the young girls in the west coast of Malabar. The session was much appreciated by all the enthusiastic and energetic staff of the college.
