Mangaluru, 16th February 2019 : St. Ann’s College of Education conducted a rally to create awareness on duty and right of voting. The objective of this rally is to create a platform to engage student-teachers in spreading awareness regarding the responsibility of common people to exercise their right of voting. It is done through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize the voters on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. Awareness rally aimed at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.
Various activities and games are planned and conducted to stimulate, motivate and provoke them regarding enrolling their name in the electoral list and to cast their valuable vote on Election Day. Quiz, essay writing competitions were held in the college. On 16th of February, at 9.15 a.m. the faculty, B.Ed. and M.Ed. students held a rally from the college premises through Head Post Office, Forum Mall, A B Shetty circle and Hamilton circle. They marched with placards sensitizing the mass.
Principal Dr Sr Clare A.C. and all the staff participated in the rally. Physical Director Mr. Suresh Kumar T. co-ordinated the awareness rally.
