St Agnes PU College celebrated National Integration Day on 30th of August, in collaboration with the NCC unit of the college.
Wing Commander P.C. Pant, Commanding Officer, 6 Karnataka, Air squadron NCC, Mangaluru was the Chief Guest of the programme. Addressing the gathering, he spoke how we must stay united and protect our culture. He reminded the youth of their responsibilities and duties towards their nation. He gave a call to everyone to serve their motherland selflessly and be ready to sacrifice anything what the nation demands. He encouraged the girls to take up the defence force as a career. He inspired the future citizens of India to make use of all the opportunities and lead our nation forward.
NCC cadets pledged their oath, which followed by NCC anthem. A skit depicting patriotic spirit was performed by the students. Group song interpretingthe rich cultural diversity was presented. A patriotic dance with the theme ‘Colours of India’ mesmerised the audience.
Ashlyn Pinto welcomed the gathering. Vidhula compered the programme and Melreen Dsouza thanked the guests.
