Keeping the Spirit of Vanamahotsava alive with the ongoing tree plantation drive and rallies across the country an awareness programme was held in St. Joseph’s School on the 5 th of July 2018. Festive green atmosphere encased the corridors of the school and all the students enthusiastically participated in the celebration by displaying creative green symbols. A scintillating programme was put up by the students of std VI A. A ‘ MIME SHOW’ on the ill effects of tree cutting, a dance based on ‘ BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION’ a skit on the ‘LIVING LEGEND’ , ‘ SAALU MARADA THIMAKKA’ were the highlights. The Chief Guest Mr. Mohan Das the President of ‘Indian Christian Revival Mission’ appealed to the students to adopt saplings and ensure their survival. The Headmistress appreciated the students for their creative green symbols and all the other activities organised in preparation for this occasion.
