St Ann's High School hosts Hobli Level Throwball Tournament

The Hobli Level Throwball Tournament 2023 was hosted by St Ann's High School, Bolar on August 8, 2023 in the school campus. Twenty six teams of Bunder, Gandhinagar, Kapikad, Kavoor and Balmatta clusters of Mangalore North Block participated.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Mangalore North Block Education Officer Mr.James Cutinha. He encouraged the teams to develop the spirit of true sportsmanship and build team spirit. The Education Secretary of Karnataka Province, Sr Maria Sudeepa A.C.,was the Chief Guest . The Taluk Physical Education Officer Mr. Bharath; Bunder Cluster CRP Mr Hemanth Kulal and EO Mangaluru North Mrs Pramila were present. The guests were warmly welcomed by the Headmistress Sr Ruby A.C.

After a day filled with excitement and close matches, the valedictory function was held, which was presided over by the Corporator of Port Ward, Mr Abdul Latif; Mr Ravish Kumar, Manager of IOB and Mrs Sudha, the retired manager of IOB were present. The winners were awarded the trophies by Mr. Mokara Pradeep Rao, the Chief Manager of Indian Overseas Bank.
