Carmel Seva Trust, Bidar celebrated International Women's Day in the 10 adopted villages of Carmel Niketan, Bidar from March 1st to March 10th, 2021. About 325 women participated joyfully and enthusiastically in the programme consisting of prayer, welcome, awareness songs and skits by women themselves. A video on social issues was shown to the participants. Sr Sneha gave a talk on the rich contribution made by some prominent women. Competitions like elocution and rangoli was organised on this occasion and prizes were awarded to the winners. Outstanding women of the Sanga’s too were honoured. The celebration ended with lunch. The sisters and social workers worked very hard to make the day memorable for all women.
