St Cecily’s Composite PU College, Udupi

Pre University Course being the basic requirement for several courses, St Cecily’s High school was upgraded into St. Cecily’s Composite Pre University College in 2002 with all the three disciplines: Arts, Commerce and Science. In June 2012 Computer Science was introduced in both Science and Commerce streams. The College plays a vital role in catering to all round development and welfare of students in fulfilling the mission and vision of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. In 2017 boys were admitted to the PU Section. The faculty strives constantly to promote a harmonious, balanced and an all round development of the students.

Over the past years the institution has shown a remarkable progress in academics and other curricular activities due to the committed Principals Sisters Louella, Maria Sudeepa, Rose Agnes and Tresilda and the dedicated band of staff members. Each year at least one discipline has secured 100% results. In 2013 the College had its Decennial Celebrations with Rt. Rev. Dr. Jerald Isaac Lobo as the Chief Guest in which the former faculty and the ex-students participated. The students who have moved out of this institution have excelled in every field and made the college proud. Long live St. Cecily’s!
