Carmel Composite PU College, Modankap

26th June 2000 was an auspicious day in the history of Carmel Convent Girls High School, Modankap. It was upgraded to a Composite PU College with co-education and named as Carmel Composite PU College. A new building to house all the three disciplines Science, Commerce and Arts was an urgent need and hence the foundation stone for the building was laid on 2nd October 2000. The new block has spacious class rooms as well as well-equipped Laboratories and Library for the growth of the students.

During the course of the years the students performed admirably well in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. They participated in various sports and games and other competitions and   brought laurels to the College. The College is gifted with a dedicated and loyal teaching faculty, who give their very best towards the integral development of the students. Over the past years the college has bagged 100% results in one stream or the other each year, keeping the flag of excellence flying high.

Certificate course in Computer education, daily additional coaching for slow learners, CET coaching free of charge, organized by the Department for minority students are made available for the students. Ample opportunities are provided to the students to bring out their innate potential through various competitions held in the college. The College is growing from strength to strength!
